Currently 6 Lutheran Brethren Churches in Tohoku (the northern area of the main island Honshu) are using English conversation classes as a means of outreach into their communities. We continue to find English classes a very natural way to meet people and bring them into the church. Through the classes English students are also introduced to the Bible and have opportunity to meet other Christians.
