Teach English in Japan?

Interested in a year (or two) in Japan? Great! Because you are NEEDED... to teach English. The English teaching program is a strategic element of the partnership between the Lutheran Brethren church of Japan and LBWM. Most Japanese people aren't that interested in attending a Christian church, but they are VERY interested in learning English. The teaching program, offered through local churches and taught by short term staff from North America, provides a bridge which opens the local congregation with a friendly welcome to interested Japanese.

As a teacher you'll build bridges for the Gospel by initiating friendships with those who attend classes, spending time with students outside of class, leading or helping with chapel times after class, leading English Bible Studies and inviting students to Sunday worship services and special events.
