Cameroon

Pioneer LB missionaries arrived in Cameroon in 1920. By God's grace, churches were planted among animistic people groups and now the Cameroonian church is quite large. The national church has matured and become independent of support from LBIM, and has even begun sending cross-cultural missionaries to spread the gospel in the African country of Mali.

LBIM does not currently have any missionaries here, but there is a need for three couples or individuals to work with unreached Muslim people groups in Cameroon.

Cameroon 2008
A short-term mission team from North America went to Garoua, Cameroon this November to assist the Cameroonian church in evangelism and church planting. Teams of North Americans and Cameroonians of three to four went through the target neighborhoods sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and sharing about a new congregation being started in the neighborhood. Along the way they had the incredible opportunity to worship and fellowship with workers from the LB church in Cameroon and share in the spiritual refreshment.
